I’m dragging my feet, 2014 [which is a majorly spacey number, by the way…do you feel like a Jetson every time you type it out too?]. I wasn’t quite ready for you, wasn’t quite ready to let these colours slip through my fingers:
But. But but. I’d forgotten that with enough blankets, oversized candles, musical instruments and kitchen chats to offset the dark afternoons, January is a month of supreme coziness.
To my fellow Northern Hemispherers stoically battling the elements and to all you other people who live in a perpetually sunkissed half-dressed state, I wish you a warm and cozy start to your year.
Thank you for reading All Mussed Up — it’s a pleasure to have you here.
We love stopping by your place for a good read, some beautiful photos, and often a great new recipe to try. All Mussed Up is our favorite internet cafe….
Ooohhh, pretty leaves, cute cat, warm lighting, oh so cozy! My list of winter essentials includes almost daily baths to candlelight and music. In fact I think I’ll go draw one now…
Happy new year! Stay toasty warm!
Happy New Year! My plan was to combat the winter blues by going outside more, but the gray weather is not very inviting right now. Inside we are still clinging to Christmas lights for some “gezelligheid” :-)
Happy new year Valerie! For some reason I’ve missed a few of your posts which is quite disappointing… now it’s almost March, three months into 2014! Hope that you are well. The photographs embedded in this post are beautiful. Stay warm, sending you hugs from the sunkissed barren lands of Australia (and yes, I’m perpetually half-dressed!) xxx
