al fresco
This green & coral glory of a salad.
With these truffley, ashy, and sharp treasures procured from the cheesemonger’s cave of wonders on the Twijnstraat.
And the stone fruit, almost too pretty to eat.
In this secret garden, where we hold bottles of Hefeweizen to our flushed cheeks as dusk creeps down the walls.
Everything tastes so much better outside, doesn’t it?
It so does. Been enjoying so many delicious meals outdoors this week. Love it. Love your photos. Love your blog!
Ooh, I’ll bet! Enjoy that crisp mountain air. (:
val-you love the outdoors like me…warmest regards, kirk
I do! I’d love to live in a more wild outdoors environment some day, but for now our little patio will have to do.
Yum! What a gorgeous, gorgeous spread of colours (and the food, of course!). Love your pictures. I definitely agree that food eaten outside seems to be twice as enjoyable. Especially when accompanied by a good German white beer. So yum!
Glad you stopped by to join the cheese & beer party here. (: Is it warm enough Down Under to be eating outside now?
This brought such a smile to my face. The only way to eat fruit and cheese in the summer is outside. I remain faithfully in love with your little patio nook.
I can’t wait for you to come and rest your bones in this nook at some point – let’s make it happen! (:
I love this. It’s gorgeous when you get to savour the days and eat al fresco. Enjoy those beautiful moments
Thank you, you too!
