of the things they saw in Norway, pt. 0
In the summer of oh-twelve, two intrepid kids headed due North.
North, they found out, looks like this:
And this:
And thankfully, like this too:
It’s all coming up! I’m wading through pictures and notebook scribbles and highly saturated memory blips now. I can’t wait to pull you into the fjords and mustard-hued cottages and fresh fish dinners and whales and kind people and white nights.
Meanwhile, a lovely green-eyed girl is conked out on the couch, having braved 7 time zones to visit us. I’ll introduce you two soon.
PS. To ease into Scandinavia à la Muss, mosey back to the time we zoomed in a caffeinated haze around Copenhagen and the time we zigzagged through Stockholm.
Beautiful photos!
no salmon there? lovely pics
Sadly not in season! We caught cod and coalfish aplenty, though. (:

Georgous pictures! Looks beautiful! I have been to Norway a few times now & loved it so much! Such a beautiful country, great lakes, the woods, lovely people & a lovely scenery too! :)
We enjoyed it SO very much…it’s easy to see why so many Dutch families are emigrating there for the space and the fresh air. I have to confess that I love the city, though (if you can call Utrecht a city) — it’s much better for people-watching! (:
Nice photos! Wish I could have spent more time in Norway during my Scandinavian adventure. Have you ever visited Bergen? It’s supposed to be charming!
Sadly we didn’t make it to Bergen, but we managed Oslo, Trondheim, and Narvik — a really lovely cross-section of starkly different places. Where did you go on your Scandinavian adventure?
